Abstract
The Zambian government through the Ministry of Commerce Trade and Industry es-tablished the Private Sector Development Reform Programme (PSDRP). The PSDRP aims at reducing the cost of doing business and encouraging competiveness in the pri-vate sector. PACRA falls under the Ministry of Commerce Trade and Industry and is responsible for efficient and effective registration and pro-tection of commercial and intellectual property rights in order to promote innovation and or-derly trade for the benefit of the nation.
