Kabwe March 2017 Basic Needs and Nutrition Basket Report
Abstract
This survey was conducted on 26th – 27th March, 2017 by the Social and Economic Development Programme of the Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection. Average prices were calculated on the basis of surveys conducted at Kamanda, Katondo, Nakoli, Lukanga, Polen and Shoprite. The March 2017 Basic Needs Basket is approximately US$361 based upon the exchange rate of K9.56per US$ prevailing on the days of data collection. Please note that other monthly costs would include personal care, clothing, recreation, etc.
