Chinsali March 2017 Basic Needs and Nutrition Basket Report
Abstract
This survey was conducted on 25th - 26th March, 2017 by the Social & Economic Development Programme of the Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection. Average prices were calculated on the basis of prices gathered from retail outlets at Kabuta, Kalukungu market, new market and old market around Chinsali. The March Basic Needs Basket is approximately US$146 based upon the exchange rate of K9.56 prevailing on the days of data collection. Please note that other monthly costs would include personal care, clothing, recreation, etc.
