Abstract
This Excel file contains raw data collected from Satellite Homes Surveys (SHSs) conducted in Lusaka district in Chainda, Garden, Kalingalinga, Kamanga, Kanyama and Ngombe residential areas. The data was collected between 1st September 2022 and 8th September 2022. The raw data was used to produce the first half Satellite Homes Survey report. The main objective of conducting the SHS is to highlight the living conditions experienced by households in selected high-density areas in Lusaka. Specifically, the surveys are aimed at assessing: (i) Income levels in order to understand living conditions as well as the coping mechanisms for the household in the targeted high-density areas in Lusaka; (ii) Access to and affordability of basic services such as education, health, water, sanitation as well as energy by households in targeted high-density areas in Lusaka; (iii) Access and affordability of food and nutrition by households in targeted high density areas in Lusaka; (iv) Employment level as well as some of the factors responsible for the employment situation in the targeted areas.
